UNIKA PRO-MMD
The UNiKA PRO-MMD is a professional passive DI box designed to connect electronic devices with unbalanced line outputs, such as music and media players, computers, tablets and phones, to professional balanced inputs with low impedance, such as microphones, mixers, external microphone preamps, active speakers and sound cards. As PRO-MMD is passive, it does not require batteries or other power supplies.
There are three different input connectors: a stereo mini TRS jack, individual left (L)-right (R) TRS jacks, and separate left (L)-right (R) RCA phono jacks. Since these pairs of inputs cannot be mixed together, only one source should be connected. All left connections and all right connections are parallel wired. The two unused L-R pairs can therefore be used as THRU connectors to route the original signal to a local monitor, headphone amplifier, or instrument amplifier.

The UNiKA PRO-MMD is equipped with UNiKA-PRO™ EI30A10E 1+1 isolation transformers, which have a special copper foil layer and a dedicated grounding layer. This enables the device to restore a high signal-to-noise ratio and dynamic sound, as well as prevent unnecessary losses due to high-frequency and grounding interference, and potential differences.
