MUTEC is proud to announce the introduction of the MC1.2+: a bidirectional digital-to-digital format converter with USB interface.
As a versatile format converter, the MC1.2+ converts typical PCM audio streams via the USB, AES/EBU, AES/EBUid and S/P-DIF interfaces. This process can be performed simultaneously in both directions (in/out) - even via USB. This flexibility is extremely useful in a recording studio, broadcast studio or sound reinforcement environment. There, the compact MC1.2+ provides versatile and lossless real-time signal transfer between audio interfaces, digital mixers and effects processors. In addition, this digital-to-digital format converter from MUTEC uses low-noise audio clock oscillators to enhance the USB audio stream by regenerating the signal and isolating the USB power supply. The unique flexibility of the MC1.2+ is further enhanced by the choice of powering via the built-in power supply, the USB interface (bus-powered) or the DC input, ensuring both stationary and mobile use.
