Are you still using an older version of TotalMix? If so, we have great news for you! The brand-new Version 2 update introduces a fantastic new feature that will significantly improve your studio workflow. The user interface is now fully scalable.
This means the program window will adapt perfectly to your monitor's resolution. Whether you’re working on a compact laptop or a large, high-resolution display, you can adjust the interface size exactly to your preferences. You can smoothly zoom in and out of the view with a simple combination of the CMD key and the mouse wheel or conveniently via a two-finger gesture on the trackpad. It's particularly handy that the main mixer, right sidebar, and matrix view can be enlarged independently. This way, you always have the tools you need right in front of you.
If you’re wondering if you’ll have to adjust to this new setup, rest assured that you won't. RME has also considered users with monitors of lower pixel density or who simply prefer the familiar layout. The classic, pixel-perfect design of previous versions is still fully integrated into the software. You can switch back and forth between the new, scalable look and the classic design at any time with a single click in the menu. You can even save this setting for each of your workspaces individually.
Basic mouse navigation is just as intuitive as you’re used to. It has simply been enhanced with smart visual cues. For instance, adjustable elements glow subtly when you hover over them, making navigation easier.
