In addition to minimal size with maximum sonic potential, these microphones feature a completely redesigned, lightweight, one-size-fits-all headset that fits comfortably over the ears. Three-point, spring-loaded grips ensure a secure fit under the ears and on the side of the head for added safety. The two-way adjustable boom system (length and height) with anti-slip mechanism for the headband and sliding lock makes this new headset easy to fit. The new 90° cable management system protects the cable and routes it along the wearer's back where it is invisible. Sophisticated mechanical design

Compact core technology in a 3 mm housing

CORE by DPA is the powerful new technology behind DPA's miniature microphones. As a result, the microphones deliver clearer, more open sound at all volume levels, from whispers to screams. Prior to the use of CORE technology, the 4066 Series was the clearest and most robust constant-output headset microphone available. These microphones are known for their wide dynamic range and low distortion at all SPLs.

DPA has scaled down their great CORE technology to fit into the 3mm subminiature microphones. This means that despite their small size, the performance of the 6066 CORE Headset Series is comparable to the world's most popular 5mm miniature capsules.

These subminiature microphones have a lower noise floor than other 3 mm capsules on the market and are better able to handle high sound pressure levels (SPL) without distortion. Technically, the 6066 has a noise floor of only 26 dB(A), which is easily comparable to DPA's 5mm miniature capsules.

IP58 certified

CORE subminiatures are IP58 certified. This durability is achieved through a number of defense mechanisms:

Water-repellant nano-coating of the cover and housing
Hermetic sealing of the sensitive amplifier at the core of the mic
