4061 Omni MIc Kits (Loud SPL)

In terms of acoustics, the 4061 CORE Miniature Omnidirectional (Loud SPL) is identical to the 4060 Miniature Omnidirectional (Normal SPL). However, its sensitivity has been designed for higher sound pressure levels (SPL), handling sound pressure levels up to 144 dB peak before clipping, making it one of the best minis for very loud sound sources.

4071 Omni Mic Kits (Loud SPL)

The 4071 CORE miniature omnidirectional Presence Boost microphone is a fantastic lavalier microphone with a typical 5 dB presence boost at 4 to 6 kHz. This is important for a chest microphone because the frequency range of spoken consonants is attenuated in this position, degrading speech intelligibility. The 4071's boost maximises speech intelligibility.
