DPA Microphones N-Series Digital Wireless System
The N-Series is an all-digital true-diversity wideband solution that delivers DPA's renowned sound quality, and the pristine, clear sound of DPA microphones deserves to be taken to the next level in the sound chain. The DPA 'N-Series' wireless system does just that.
The system will be available in Europe from spring 2025.
True Radio-Diversity
The system uses a true diversity arrangement, also known as radio diversity. The two antennas are internally connected to two radio circuits. Each antenna input has its own radio circuit. This is the key difference to antenna diversity systems. With these, there is only one built-in radio that has to switch between the two antennas.
True broadband
DPA offers a solution that operates from 470MHz to 870MHz - a range of 400MHz that is rather unusual for wireless systems. This makes the N-Series extremely flexible and allows audio channels to be found quickly, even in areas of high radio density. This protects against frequency changes made from time to time by government authorities.
Fully digital
The N Series was designed digitally from the ground up, not analogue and then digitally modified. This is the difference. The signal is treated with the highest possible integrity throughout the wireless transmission.
Simple workflow
Getting started with the N-Series is quick and easy, as channels can be configured directly on the receiver. Frequently used parameters are easily accessible.
In addition, the integrated 'DPA Audio Controller' software solution allows quick access to all settings via PC or Mac.
Optimized for quality
The system guarantees true DPA sound quality thanks to the use of high-quality microphone preamps with state-of-the-art A/D conversion.
Highest effective dynamic range
Unlike other manufacturers who use incomplete measurement methods, DPA's True Dynamic Range is determined in a single measurement without level changes or limiters. The N-Series offers an industry-leading true dynamic range of 126 dB.
With this enormous dynamic range, there is no need to adjust the gain at the transmitter. Because the system is digital, an optimum RF signal is achieved without the need for maximum modulation. The original signal is maintained throughout the system.
What is included in the N-Series?
The complete N-Series package currently includes a two-channel receiver, handheld and bodypack transmitters, and an integrated software solution that ties it all together.
N-DR1 Digital Dual Channel Receiver
The N Series includes the N-DR1 two-channel digital receiver, designed for ease of use and packed with high quality features.

Integrated software
The DPA Audio Controller software allows remote control and monitoring of the system from a PC or Mac. It has a powerful spectrum analyser that covers the full bandwidth of the system (470 to 870 MHz).
The software operates in two main windows: Monitor & Control and Frequency Management, which includes the spectrum analyser.
The DPA Audio Controller is an intuitive, easy-to-use tool that does not require a long training period.
