The Violectric HPA V340 is a high-end headphone amplifier for sound connoisseurs. The new model offers the brilliant circuitry of its big brother, the V550. This means that the HPA V340 is ideally suited to power any headphone design and driver technology. With its high output voltage and high output power, both low-impedance and high-impedance headphone types can be driven effortlessly - even magnetostats are no problem for the Violectric HPA V340.
The typical Violectric pre-gain circuit also allows the level of the amplifier to be adjusted to the preferred headphone model for the perfect symbiosis of amplifier and driver. Developed and manufactured in Germany using first-class components, the HPA V340 is impressive in every respect.

High output power
Through powerful amplifiers that can deliver far more power than even the most demanding headphones need. Therefore, ideally suited for headphones with low impedances and also magnetostats.
Lowest noise
Through a very small internal gain. This makes the self-noise of the amplifiers inaudible.
High damping factor
Through lowest output impedance. Therefore, ideally suited to control even the most difficult headphones without Beeeinflussung with a guarantee of uncompromising frequency response.
High output voltage
Through 50 volts internal operating voltage. Therefore, ideally suited for high-impedance headphones.
Balanced headphone outputs
When you listen to music via loudspeakers, you are part of the auditorium. When listening through "normal" headphones, you take the place of the conductor. When listening with "balanced" headphones, you are part of the orchestra. If the headphones are operated symmetrically, the channel separation is increased even further. Balanced headphones usually have a 4-pin XLR connection or a Pentaconn plug. True balanced operation requires a great deal of effort in the form of four built-in power amplifiers.
Pre-Gain
The headphone amplifier is located between the music source and the headphones. The source can vary in strength and the headphones can vary in sensitivity. The Lake People PRE-GAIN is designed to compensate for these differences and optimise the headphone amplifier for every conceivable combination. The result is minimal noise, minimal distortion and optimum channel equalisation.
The PRE-GAIN setting is located on the rear of the Violectric HPA V340 and can be set individually in 7 stages (-18, -12, -6, 0, +6, +12, +18 dB).
