With its compactness, the flexible 3159 digital cable is ideal for digital signal routing in mixing consoles, rack cabling and studio equipment. The 3159 is optimised according to the AES/EBU standard. The required impedance of 110 ohms is guaranteed with a tolerance of only ±10%. A separate ground conductor also facilitates cabling in confined spaces.
The Mogami 3159 AES/EBU has a cross-section of 0.22 mm² with CPP insulation and a copper shield. The outer sheath is made of PVC. The recommended maximum length of the 3159 cable is 150 m.
All MOGAMI 110W AES/EBU digital audio cables are flexible and practically configurable. Many variations are available, from normal to long distance applications, from single core to 12 core types, internal wiring and interconnect applications. Strict tolerance control of impedance within ±5% up to ±10% at maximum.
