MADI Module for Base Unit
Add an additional (or replacement) one or two 64-channel I/O coaxial or optical MADI modules to the MTRX II chassis.
The Pro Tools | MTRX MADI Module is a daughterboard with empty SFP ports that allows you to select optical or coaxial MADI inputs for the Pro Tools MTRX base unit.
The MTRX MADI Module is a small-format daughterboard that fits under the MTRX motherboard. Its connectors are located in the optical I/O slot of the MTRX base unit, making it an integral part of the MTRX chassis. The MTRX MADI module has two snap-in SFP (small-form-factor plug-able) cages for optical (LC) or coaxial (mini-BNC) MADI transceivers, so you can transmit up to 128 MADI audio channels with two SFP transceivers.
The daughter card expands the MTRX base unit by up to 128 MADI channels

Optical I/O via Lucent Connectors (LC) or mini-BNC for compatibility with Pro Tools | HD MADI interface
MADI module or Dual MADI I/O option card
With the MTRX MADI module, the Pro Tools | MTRX base unit can send and receive up to 64 bi-directional audio channels via MADI, while the expansion slots are freely available for other I/O types, including MADI. The MADI module connectors are located in the MTRX base unit in the optical I/O slot above the DigiLink connectors.
The Dual MADI I/O option is a full-length PCIe card that fits into one or more of the eight expansion slots on the back of the MTRX.
